Primary Job Purpose


Full time immediate openings are available to be a part of the STRONE Division, as a CLEANER, working for our Emergency Response Department. This role is responsible in assisting our lead crew in cleaning, content manipulation, contents packing and assist with demolition;


JOB CONTENT
 

Functional Accountability

 

We are currently looking to add cleaners to our team who are hardworking, motivated and reliable:

  • Clean finished occupied sites and clean non-finished unoccupied sites - residential and commercial.

  • Extract water due to a variety of water overflows or backups.

  • Assist in demolition, post construction clean up and debris removal.

  • Ability to move contents, packing out and pack back contents in residential and commercial sites; wrapping, labelling, listing, box and lift in the removal of contents.

  • Complete documentation of job site work.

  • Maintain equipment in good working order.

  • Provide assistance with water damage, fire damage, mould and asbestos remediation as required to other offices.

     

    Skills

     

  • Minimum of 1 year experience an asset in cleaning.

  • Excellent communication, both written and oral.

  • A strong work ethic and the ability to re-act to Company needs as and when required.

  • Commitment to personal safety.

  • Ability to work extended hours and be on call.

  • Be willing to undergo a criminal background check as required by our clients.

  • Be willing to provide a drivers abstract.

  • Physically able to work in PPE including respiratory protection.

  • Ability to lift 30 lbs

  • Class G driver’s license

     

    Qualifications that are an asset

  • Knowledge of the restoration and/or construction industry
  • Experience or knowledge of asbestos, mould and demolition

  • WHMIS Training

  • Standard First Aid / CPR
  • Working at Heights (WAH)
