MONDAY TO FRIDAY 1:30PM TO 10:00PM

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY 8:30AM TO 5:00PM

24-28 HOURS PER WEEK

 

ROLE DESCRIPTION

 

This position is a part of the Central Administration Department working together as individuals participate in the CAT (catastrophic) Team and are primarily responsible to support all administrative tasks, for all branches, company wide. Each individual of this team is responsible for the coordination and organization of the in-taking of new claims and updating existing claims along with all branch related tasks. The central administration team also supports all in branch office administrators, within each region. Together as a team the successful candidate for this role will actively participate to ensure company’s KPI’s, policies and procedures are followed effectively and efficiently.

 

Personal Skills

 

The PT office administrator in our Central Administration Department must have a high degree of emotional maturity while assisting in difficult and pressure situations. Must be flexible and have well developed interpersonal skills, with STRONE and clients. The role requires:

 

 

    • Strong communication skills, written and verbally.

    • Detail oriented and process driven.

    • Strong phone skills.

    • Organizational ability, the ability to co-ordinate and multiply task.

    • Flexible, ability to handle change and pressure.

    • Ability to harmonize and logically resolve conflict.

    • Ability to work with a variety of different personalities.

    • Good customer service skills and approach; must be able to deliver great customer service to both the Insured’s and the Insurance industry representatives.

    • Team player

    • A sense of urgency to respond quickly as required and to meet deadlines.

 

Technical Skills

 

    • IT conversant, proficient MS office, excel, software usage and emails, knowledge of accounting and numeracy – Billing & Entry level skills in accounts payable.

 

  • College diploma in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the insurance claims process an asset.
